Reiki is a form of energy healing. It treats the whole person including emotions, body, thoughts and spirit. Reiki is generally associated with benefits such as: deep relaxation, stress reduction, more restful sleep, enhanced immune functioning, greater peace and increased self-awareness. Reiki has also been said to have positive effects on depression. You will never hear that Reiki is a cure but there have been many people who have reported amazing results in as little as one treatment. I like to explain it as an energetic massage. After a Reiki treatment many report an increase in energy, reduction in heart rate and blood pressure, reduction in the pain and frequency of migraines, reduction or elimination of pain and an increase in the quality of life. Reiki comes from the combination of the Japanese words "Rei" and "Ki". Rei means universal and Ki means non-physical energy. To learn Reiki,  is to learn how to channel Life force energy. Reiki is "love" energy. Reiki can never cause harm. Reiki can be used in self treatments as well as treatments for others. In this class we will learn the 5 Reiki principles, how Reiki works, the benefits of Reiki, it's uses in daily life and a brief history of Reiki. You will learn about chakras, auras, dry brushing or cleansing your aura and energy management techniques. You will learn how to scan a person's energy field, treatment hand positions and suggested starting procedures for administering a treatment. You will participate in giving and receiving group Reiki treatments. ( If we have enough students for group ) You will also learn self healing techniques and about your physical level healing journey. This will be an intimate group as I do not enroll more than 4 students per class to allow ample time for questions, discussion and practice. You will receive a Reiki 1 manual, certificate and the Level 1 Reiki Attunement. You will also have my ongoing support during your Reiki journey. This class will run 7-9hours depending on the size of our group. We will meet in person or on Zoom. After you enroll, you will receive an email with suggestions on how to prepare for the class and your Level 1 Reiki Attunement. There will be a 30 min lunch break. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and refunds will be at our discretion and on a case by case basis. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment. Payments are made prior to your appointment, so it may be an option to reschedule. Again that is at our discretion.
